Welcome to Moonlight Bed and Breakfast Lake Tekapo
Your hosts Tracey and Wolfgang have recently moved to Lake Tekapo.
Tracey hails from the beautiful port City of Fremantle in Western Australia. She has been an Environmental Scientist for the past 20 years, specialising in environmental sustainability programs and community environmental education. Tracey loves getting out into the mountains, horse riding, playing guitar, rock climbing and salsa dancing with Wolfgang.
Wolfgang is from the historic village of Ulm in southern Germany. He is a professional mountain and ski touring guide with over 20 years experience guiding internationally throughout Europe and more recently New Zealand. Wolfgang has been the Chief Guide for Alpine Recreation in Lake Tekapo for the past four years. Wolfgang loves all things outdoors and when he's not scaling mountains he can be found climbing up the nearest rock (or if it's raining he quite likes salsa dancing, German beer and cooking Italian food).
Minnie and Lewis are Tracey and Wolfgang's resident BnB dogs. They flew to NZ (1st class) all the way from Fremantle (Tracey and Wolfgang travelled 3rd class). Both were rescue dogs from the dog shelter. Minnie is a six year old jack russell/blue heeler cross. She is obsessed with hunting rabbits, eating blow flies and jumping on the sofa when Wolfgang isn't looking. Lewis is a three year old Labrador cross Kelpie. He loves food, sitting on people and watching Wonder Dogs on TV.
