Your hosts Marianne (41) and René (46) are of Dutch origin and have immigrated to New Zealand in February 2006. We are well travelled, as well in New Zealand as in many other countries across Asia, Australasia, Europe, North and Middle America. We are happy to share our travel information and experience with you.

Marianne loves meeting other people and serving a healthy breakfast. Her hobbies are cooking, reading and gardening. She has put a lot of effort into decorating “Moonlight” into a cosy house where you can really be at ease and feel at home. Marianne truly is the corner-stone of Moonlight Bed & Breakfast.

René is an intrepid mountain hiker and biker. He has spent almost a year of his life hiking in the Himalayas and has made many walks in New Zealand. Now he feels at home in the pristine wilderness of the Mackenzie country. Being a hiking guide and former stargazing guide, he is pleased to share his knowledge of the outdoors, natural history and astronomy.
